I’m a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist specialising in Play Therapy, accredited by the Irish Association of Play Therapy and Psychotherapy, which is recognised at European level by the EAIP. I am professionally insured, Garda vetted, and attend regular supervision, alongside ongoing training, to ensure my work remains ethical, reflective, and grounded.
I have been practising since 2022 across primary and secondary school settings and counselling centres, and I now work in private practice. Play, creativity, and relational depth sit at the heart of all aspects of my work.
Working with Parents and Families
I work with children, teenagers, and their parents, and I believe deeply in the power of therapeutic parent support as a starting point for change. When parents are supported to reflect, align, and better understand their child’s inner world, shifts often begin to happen within the family itself.
For some families — particularly those with younger children — parent support alone may be enough to meet therapeutic goals. For others, it creates the grounding and clarity needed for child or adolescent therapy to be most helpful, either alongside or at a later stage.
Working with Children and Teenagers
When working directly with children and teenagers, I keep them at the centre of their own process. I aim to meet each young person with sensitivity and care, attuning to their inner world while gently supporting them to recognise their strengths, develop mind–body awareness, process difficult feelings, and build self-compassion and resilience.
Play, creativity, and embodied approaches allow young people to express what may be hard to put into words, at a pace that feels safe and respectful.
My Approach
I am deeply interested in people, relationships, and human growth, and I feel privileged to do this work. I bring warmth, authenticity, and playfulness into the therapeutic space, alongside a grounded understanding of development and an openness to the deeper, more relational and reflective aspects of healing.
I hope to be able to support you and your family in a way that feels containing, compassionate, and genuinely helpful.
