Therapeutic Parent Support, Child Play Therapy & Adolescent Creative Psychotherapy

“As a parent, I felt like I was getting to see inside my child’s mind, getting a better understanding of their behaviours and emotions and what might be triggering them. By gaining this insight, it has led me to be more compassionate and deepened my connection with my child and we’ve been having more positive and meaningful time together. There are still tantrums but I understand them more and am better able to deal with them and my little boy responds better when he feels acknowledged and understood.”

How the Process unfolds

  1. I have recently expanded my practice and have some availability, email me at: theheartfeltguide@gmail.com
  2. During an initial call we explore how I might support you.
  3. The process begins with a parent only intake & support service
  4. When child or adolescent therapy is introduced, parent support sessions continue periodically.

“Isabelle really levelled with me as a parent and normalised the hard moments we had as a family while also giving some really insightful feedback, she brings humour and warmth to difficult conversations.”

Is This For you?

  • Are you worried about your child or teenager’s emotional wellbeing?
  • Are you unsure how best to respond to your child’s needs at the moment?
  • Needing to explore parenting to suit the evolving needs of your child or teen?
  • Going through difficult changes, challenges, or transitions as a family?
  • Has your child or family experienced difficult or traumatic events?
  • Does your child have developmental or neurological differences?

“Before attending my child had lost confidence in himself and found it hard going into school every morning. He also had big reactions and emotions over small things. We both learned how to manage these. I also learned different ways to connect better with him. He is now more confident and a happier little boy with no problems going into school. He absolutely loved working with Isabelle and looked forward to every session. He has even asked if we can go back to visit.”
